Nothing compares to the self-confidence one gets from youthful, radiant skin. Staying well-hydrated, as well as daily cleansing and moisturizing, are important self-care habits for healthy-looking skin. For those looking to achieve an even higher level of skin health and beauty, consider adding professional skincare treatments such as HydraFacials.
What is a HydraFacial?
This facial treatment uses a patented device to exfoliate, cleanse, extract impurities, and hydrate your face.
Using a vortex-swirling action, the HydraFacial device gently removes dead skin, dirt, debris, and impurities while at the same time hydrating and soothing your skin.
HydraFacials are one of the most popular and effective methods of skin resurfacing available today. In addition to the cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration properties of this treatment, your skin also receives antioxidant protection and an infusion of moisturizing serums. It is essentially a microdermabrasion, peel, and hydrating mask, all in the same skin rejuvenation treatment: the total package.
Would a HydraFacial Be Right for Me?
Anyone is a candidate for a HydraFacial. No matter your skin tone or type, you can experience significant benefits from this treatment as it helps to reduce a wide variety of issues, including:
- Fine lines & wrinkles
- Uneven skin tone & texture
- Enlarged pores
- Dry or dull skin
How is a HydraFacial Performed?
Getting a HydraFacial is a comfortable, relaxing experience. We suggest arriving with a clean, make-up-free face. You’ll begin by getting comfortable in one of our ergonomic treatment chairs while your aesthetician answers any final questions you have. Then you’ll begin the four steps to a HydraFacial:
Step 1: Cleansing
The HydroPeel tip is used with a specific deep cleansing solution to clean the surface of your skin, removing the initial layer of oil and dirt.
Step 2: Exfoliation
A light chemical peel (a combination of glycolic and salicylic acid) is applied to exfoliate dead skin cells. The chemical peel lowers the pH of the skin, breaking the bonds that hold the upper dead layers of skin together to allow for the gentle removal of dead skin without irritation.
Step 3: Extraction
Painless vortex suction gently and effectively dislodges blackheads, whiteheads, and sebum to extract these impurities from deep within the pores.
Step 4: Infusion
Antioxidants and hyaluronic acid are infused into your now clean and fresh skin to hydrate, nourish, and protect it.
The results of a HydraFacial are soft, hydrated, clean, and glowing skin with a smooth texture and even skin tone.
Aftercare for Best Results
The care you take following your appointment is important for achieving the best possible and longest-lasting results. The HydraFacial procedure deeply cleanses your skin, possibly making it sensitive to excessive oil from a sweaty workout, hot shower, or sauna, so we suggest avoiding anything that will cause you to perspire in the hours following your treatment. Similarly, applying makeup in the hours after your HydraFacial is not recommended. By keeping your skin dry and clean, you’ll allow it time to absorb the antioxidant serum fully.
